Not long ago there was some reemerging news about micro-plastics being an additional contaminant getting into water supplies. Based on studies that were carried out in a few different countries, it was determined that the water supplies did contain some micro-plastics. The WHO did a report that discusses the possible impact of these microplastics being in our drinking water. The normal particulate filters on the market (usually from around 20 microns down to about 5 microns) will remove a lot of this. Our pre/post particulate filters go even smaller and remove particulates down to 0.35 Microns which will remove around 99% of these micro-plastics and other particulates. We are following this and many other drinking water issues.
